Re: Have you been there ...I haven't been there with Ilija. I'm summer person and I don't like coldness very much.
I don't usually post other people pictures but this one is something special.

NiceI tried this summit in an early summer day some years ago but a heavy storm forced me to retreat from almost the top. :-) Anyway Durmitor mountains are beautiful ! Thanks for sharing this nice picture !

Re: V ery impressive...Yes, April 2006. My first hike since I came back from Japan in March that year.
And like I said, one of the best hikes I ever did. Weather that weekend could not be better.

Photos from ski ascent March 2007We have been there in mid March 2007 - for randonee skiing. For a pity, we have not succeed with the summit of Bobotov Kuk and stayed just under the summit rocks, see photo report at: http://www.ho-vsetin.com/view.php?cisloclanku=2007040301

Re: Photos from ski ascent March 2007I know that. I've already looked your photos from Durmitor and Bjelasica. Seems you had a great time. My friend Ilija told me that he met few Czech people in Lokvice valley. Perhaps you met him there :)
Cheers

Re: Photos from ski ascent March 2007Hi Marija, we have met there two guys just on the day, when we leave the valley... We were a group of 12 guys, so not 'few' at all :-) Have he recognized someone?

See Marija, there is some reason to climb in the coldcuz the snow can make the same places look so much more cool! Really, these days hand warmers are so much cheaper, and last so much longer, you gotta use them and shoot winter fairytale pictures yourself too :)
