Booker Mountain and its...

Booker Mountain and its magnificent NE Face. This is one of the steepest faces in Washington, dropping 1,660 ft in 1/10th of a horizontal mile (rank 11) and 4,660 ft in one horizontal mile (rank 19). The glacier is the Buckner Glacier. It drains to Park Creek thence to the Stehekin River thence to Lake Chelan, which is visible at upper left. Aug. 30, 2004.
