Boulder Field

This is the boulder field you eventually reach if you climb Lava Mountain from the north via the Continental Divide. The ridge to the summit is above. It's possible to avoid the boulders by staying to the right, but it's more fun to go across the boulder, and the views are better. Absaroka Range, WY-- August 2001
