Carbonate, Cyclone, Low Carb, Grizzly, Mamma, Boulder, then exited to Baldwin Gulch trailhead. With Marshall. Hardest section was the extremely loose Class 3 descent from Low Carb to Grizzly. It may be one of the most loose sections of scrambling I’ve done. Time consuming if care is taken.
Found a flat spot in the road to camp on the Antero Road just past the intersection of the road to Antero and road to Boulder Mountain. Hiked from our camp up the road to a steep grassy slope, came down a slightly different way. Too many dust-making 4 wheelers on the road!

Cold day
Not very memorable, 9 years later I have no recollection.

Disappointing day
Started at 2wd TH. Had forgotten my snowshoes, which hindered me a bit starting about 5 miles in. On the ridge, I felt the affects of not getting to altitude in a while, so stopped at just Boulder Mtn. VERY disappointed that I didn't get Mt Mamma.

Whoa....
The pup and I. Started from the 2wd parking, followed the road up Boulder Mountain, then traversed to Mount Mamma and then on to Grizzly Peak. Pup lost a bootie traversing between Mamma and Grizzly and couldn't find it in all the damn talus. Then, near the summit of Grizzly she threw another bootie, looked for it a bit, but as lightning was fast closing in decided to leave it as an offering to the mountain gods. Booked it to the summit and then hauled ass down to the lake. Then got to endure hail, rain, lightning and thunder on the hike back along the road.

Via Mt. Mamma
Scrambled straight up the talus slope between Mamma and Boulder Mountain from some unnamed mine. Nice day out by myself. Good weather and just cold enough to keep one from sweating.
Beautiful sunny calm day in the mountains! I love getting November days like this, much warmer than my last few outings have been, its amazing how no wind can improve your day so much! Went up from the 2WD parking area up the roads until 11,700 then left and went SW almost straight up to the summit ridge and summit. Great day!

Sunrise was great
A pretty special place, for sure. Climbed this in conjunction with Mount Mamma, Grizzly, Lo Carb, Cyclone and Carbonate. Long ass day for sure. Here's the trip report.

Boulder Mountain
Started as a sunny day but then became cloudy. At around 12700 ft it became nasty and began to rain. I am glad I did not turn around and go back because after 15 minutes the rain stopped.
I knew it was 4100 ft of vertical. When I reached the summit I saw that my GPS showed that I had hiked 7.0 miles. The 14.0 mile roundtrip hike just became too long but it was worth it.
