Bristlecone artistry

High on one of the slopes of Mt. Moriah, I was impressed by this trees effort to create an artful appearence. A very cloudy day made the lighting tricky so I used a flash to help out. Bristlecone trees are one of the true treasures of the Great Basin area of the US. 9-27-08

Acrobats

I really like this photo. Reminds me of acrobatic trees, holding each other, rolling in a circle. Thanks for posting.

Wrestling Orcs!

They may be graceful like acrobats, but I liken these trees to Ents stamping out the Orcs! Great find and photo!
