Re: Amazing!Thank you for your comment. The distance was 6 - 8 feet, dependend of wind direction. But you have only a few seconds to take the photo.

Whydoesn't this new rock not have its own page on SP yet? It's had a few years to cool down and grow up by now ;-)

Re: WhyCool idea! But i believe the lifetime of this new rock was only 30 minutes until it was covered by a new lava flow.
