Bull Trout
Bull Trout
A Bull Trout, Salvelinus confluentus, from the Elk River near Fernie, BC, Canada.
This particular fish measured approximately 35 inches in length and weighed approximately 15 pounds. It was caught on an 8 weight flyrod using a streamer pattern. As with all fish in the Elk River it was released shortly after this July 10, 2008 photo was taken.
