San Andreas FR/Cobblestone FR
San Andreas Trailhead: San Andreas Fire Road to Cobblestone Fire Road to Summit. Judging from several of the entries here and the local nature of many of the folks I ran into on this hill, it's a wonderful local getaway. The top ridge is made interesting by the ancient rock wall that runs most of it's length and by the scarce but rewarding openings in the vegetation that allow glimpses of the world below.

#3 Burdell
Michael's 3rd peak bagged. One of the coyotes decided to walk along with us at a very close distance for a while. It was a bit disconcerting. Always love the sweeping views from up here.

great memories of Burdell
Lived in Novato in the early 90's (daughter born at Marin General) and ran the Burdell fire road many, many times. Almost always had the place to myself. Wonderful views of the north Bay Area. Thanks for putting up the page!
