Nice ride and hike - didn't see anyone
Rode my bike (motorcycle) to the TH. Warm but pleasant day; didn't see a soul. Pretty impressive for a Sunday in Socal.
Rode back through historic Bautista canyon rd; no one out there either. Great day of solitude!

Pleasant day
A nice hike after 5 hours of driving. Part of a 4-peak weekend. Sunny, clear day, I enjoyed the transition from scrub manzanita to grass and pine forest. With all the flowers, the place had a "Hobbit" feel to it. That, and all the bees.
Done on a whim, off-trail, alone, and in a dense fog. Still had a good time though.

Cahuilla Trail
Nice hike along the trail although the views from the top were sort of blocked by trees. Also hiked Little Cahuilla, Lookout, Thomas & Rouse (drive-ups) and Indian Mountain that day.

Cold and Rainy
Opted to go up even with hurricane force winds and lots of rain. Went with my little brother and also took our dog Misty. About 2 and a half hours round trip. We had no views the whole time. Even with out it was still a fun trip.

A Cahuilla Kind of Day
Part of a Cahuilla, Coahuilla and Lil Cahuilla trifecta. Very easy and scenic trail to follow thanks to the useful idiot who road his/her dirtbike all the way to the summit. Very enjoyable 4+ hours spent.

Via Main/Game Trail
Before the weekend rains came in, a hike to somewhere new was in order. Amazingly warm and sunny, I thought it was Spring already. An easy hike, except for the climbing over downed trees and bushwacking through burnt chaparral, with great views of the San Jacintos and Anza Valley. Got 4 hours to burn?
