As are many of the Native American places in the U.S. Southwest, this is a wonderfully mystical place. It's easy to understand why the Indians consider these areas sacred.

Nice start but......maybe you could add something on the climbing there - present rules (why it's not allowed etc..) & some history of spire ascents?
I learned something new:
"Because the monument is on the Navajo reservation, alcohol consumption or possession is prohibited."

Nice post!My nephew visited the canyon a few years ago and has encouraged me to see it, also. One of these days...
