Fun lookout
Nice quick trail to the top. Surprisingly expansive views of the surrounding area. The guy at the lookout tower was fun to talk to about the area.

Great Views
With Jim and Luna. Second summit of three this day. Easy hike to neat lookout. amazing views of Wolf Rock and then you look the other way and all the volcanoes from Hood to Diamond Peak with the Three Sisters in your face. Chatted with the lookout staff guy there, nice guy. Looked and sounded like a long-haired version of Donald Sutherland. Pretty knowledgeable guy.
With my daughter. Beautiful day, temps around 70. Enjoyable short hike, up in 40 minutes, stayed at the lookout about 20 minutes enjoying a great view, back down in 20 minutes. 26th Oregon P2K summit. The road in was freshly graded and lots of fun! Recommended, and not just for P2K'ers and lookout chasers.

Trail
See Dean's note below. This will indeed be a place to take my wife someday. I want to see it again with clear skies. The view of the big volcanoes would be fantastic.

Lookout Trail
Hiked this with SP'er Bob Bolton and had the excitement of getting off of the top just before an electrical storm hit the area. Great views despite the cloudy conditions. Will return with the wife for this one as it is one she'd enjoy.
