2nd Time
Working towards the Desert Explorer pin (Desert Peaks Section), I took the Caruthers Cyn. route this time. Instead of heading around the left (south) side of the summit pinnacle, I took the gulley all the way to the saddle between New York #1 and New York #2, and worked my around to the west side, found the route up and signed in again. The weather was on the cold side, but without all the wind I had the first time up this peak.
