Cataract
Started from Siyeh Bend and hiked from Piegan Pass. Made it to the top in cold and windy conditions and back to the trailhead just before a large rain storm. Really nice cliff down its north face.
Summer 2015 with Kyle R, and John U. Feeling out the knee after an IT band issue. Up and over Pollock/Piegan shoulder from lunch creek to the summit, and out Piegan pass

Cataract
Almost got struck by lightning on top. Light grey clouds, light spitting rain, nothing threatening, then hair on end, sparks when my friend handed me my camera. We RAN off of there.

from Siyeh Bend
Lots of snow on the trail in the forest leading up to and through Preston Park. Awesome views from the top. Sheer north face is truly stunning! Seventh Glacier summit in June 2010!

Not wanting to waste a day off and having no one to climb with I decided to play it safe and only climb a small summit. Having been to Piegan pass a couple times in the last week I decided not to go all the way to the pass before heading up. I climbed through some difficult cliffs. It's easier from the pass. Saw some great stromatolites near the summit.

last climb of '08 in MT
scrambled up the scree on my last day in glacier of 2008 after another great summer of park rangering. took my brother up to this peak on a VERY windy, cold day. hiked back down to the siyeh trail, up over siyeh pass, and down to GTTS road for a 15.2 mile dayhike, and packed up and left columbia falls the next afternoon. hoping to do piegan, pollock, and bishops cap--among many other peaks--next time i find myself out there.
