Continental Divide Trail No. 74 trailhead near NM Hwy 90. The marker reads "4" miles to Jacks Peak and "4" miles to Burro Peak (elev. 8,030 ft.). When hiking to Burro Peak, you will pass by the west side of Jacks Peak. Actual distance to Burro is 4.5 miles. Photo taken 3/15/08.
