I really needed to take my dog for a walk, and it was a nice enough day for a short woodland jaunt. Great view from the summit. We encountered some of the largest frogs/toads I had ever seen on this side of the state, during the descent.
I can't say that this is one of my favorites. But it's a good close in year-round exercise hike. Extra mileage can be added by walking farther on the railroad path. Or by combining with Rattlesnake.

Cedar ButteNice leg stretcher on a less than perfect weather day. Nice view up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie from the summit.
