superior view!
I camped 2 nights near the summit - excellent expansive views of a huge part of Utah, including The Swell, The Reef, Book Cliffs, Sierra La Sal, the Abajo and Henry Mountains too. Best at sunset or sunrise - one of the highest quality viewscapes in Utah.

Thought I would kick off a trip to the canyon country with this little drive up and great views of the San Rafael Swell. Splendid! There were tons of people all over the place due to it being Saturday before Easter, and they sure seemed to be whooping it up on their dirt bikes, kicking up little plumes of dust all over the desert far below, having a grand old holiday weekend!

Nothing to climb
The key to this one is being able to drive without falling asleep.
That was the crux of this one. Actually, the views were superb and i was able to cross one more off my Utah 100 list (prominence peaks list that is). My son in law from Portland Oregon joined me on a four day trip through southern utah and this was some window dressing along the way.
