have a pal who lived right below the Chugach Mountains for three years and never ONCE went hiking in there.

I find it hard to believe, but it's true.

That's a shame. As a matter of fact, the bottom part of this particular Chugach mountain makes North Carolinians like us feel right at home--all kinds of brush and brambles.
