Very cool plant!

Never seen a century plant bloom this developed. Is this the kind agave sweetener comes from?

that is a good question Noondueler...I don't know.....Sedona has quite a few blooms this tall this time of year, definitely the most abundant and healthy of any of the desert elevations I visit..for Agave and Octillo...cheers
