Chair Peak from the Snow Lake Trail. Notice fresh dusting of snow. This was a cool June after an exceptionally dry, warm, and practically snowless winter. Expect much more snow than this in a normal June. June 15, 2005.

Snow Lake

Ever since I saw this lake from the top of Kaleetan I have wanted to go back there and check it out. I can see from your picture that it is even better than I expected.

The water was very still that day. It's a great lake, but it's crowded. Once you leave Snow Lake, you leave behind 98% of the people too.
