Very interesting. The owners were very nice, and the hike was quite peaceful. The summit is maintained very well, and the view of Wisconsin is idyllic. Plus, nearby is Galena (U.S. Grant) and Dyersville (Field of Dreams).

A beautiful fall day to summit the mound. I met the Wuebbels in their office in town, and they were very gracious once they determined I was a real Highpointer and not just a tourist. This highpoint is a great spot to sit and think and savor a quiet landscape.

Check it offThanks to the owners for allowing access! And I like that they make people walk for it.

Date Climbed: 2/1/04Easiest hike I have taken. I put a pole up on the top.
The weather was rainy. I went back to Saint Louis a very muddy guy.

Route Climbed: Main Road Date Climbed: August 7, 2004My 6th state highpoint. The hardest part is finding the place. There are no signs on the road.
