Chena Dome from the valley just outside the resort

This photo was taken looking up at Chena Dome 4421' from the road just before you enter the Chena Hot Springs resort. The prominence is about 3,300 feet. Unlike other peaks this size in Alaska, Chena Dome is not glaciated. It looks like a beautiful hike, but would require at least an all day hike to reach the summit. Trail maps can be found at the Chena Hot Springs Activities Center.
