Heather and I hiked up Chocolate in the afternoon after doing Last Chance Mountain in the morning. Other things we did on this trip include Ord, Eureka Dunes HP, Sandy Point, Towne BM, Tucki, and Ibex Dunes HP.

Nice morning outing
Great hike to a beautiful summit, which is now my closest local peak. Some of that jeep road is plenty steep for a good workout with a toddler on one's back! From the Summit register, it looks like no one except Deep Springs folks ever head up there in the summer months. Can't wait to see it in winter!

Consolation Prize
After getting weathered out of our Silver Peak climb we decided this would be a fine quick hike on our way to drier environs near Lone Pine. It was a really enjoyable hike. Easy enough to figure out without any pre-planning and the views are top notch. Loved the view into Eureka Valley and the Hidden Dunes.
