Re: beautiful shotthanks! actually, on the way up - we were a team of 3, and our third partner was very ill and could not continue just 45 minutes from the summit. he took the shot from the top of the last ice wall as we continued. thx as well for the note about the other pics; i'll get them organized and properly tagged as soon as the California climbing season winds down. congratulations on the Annapurna circuit! wow!

Re: awesomeThanks! Chopicalqui (6354m)is one of the three peaks that make up the Huascaran Massif in the Cordillera Blanca, Northern Peru (and namesake of Huascaran National Park, a UNESCO WH Site); time depends on the route taken, but the easiest route usually takes two bases + summit, then 1 day return= 4 very long days with proper acclimatazation. Great pic - attach?Great photo. May I suggest attaching it to something, like the Mountain Page for Chopicalqui (http://www.summitpost.org/chopicalqui/152630) for context?
Climb safely in 2011,
Sarah

Re: Great pic - attach?thanks, Sarah - I intend to do so, just haven't had time to sort thru many of the pics from our trip and do much with them yet, but i'll sort it out soon and make the proper links - i'm a bit sloppy with the interwebs :)
