Two different routes - entire ridge plus Burch Hollow trail
#1 02-02-23 W/Lana. Entire ridge beginning with the west route up Grandeur Peak. Snowshoes from the Grandeur east face all the way to the Elbow Fork TH. 12 hours total. #2 04-03-24 From Burch Hollow TH. Horrible bushwhacking and side sloping with snowshoes the final 2 miles to the Burch Hollow Pass. From there it was pure pleasure to stay on the crest of winding ridges almost all the way to the cairned summit of Church Fork Peak. We decided to return a different way (no more awful BH trail thank you) so we continued on the Millcreek Ridge to the Elbow Fork trail and down to the winter gate. From there it was a 12-minute walk to our parked car at the Burch Hollow TH. 10+32 total time.

Snowshoed the ridge from Grandeur
Hiked up Grandeur, then snowshoed the ridge over to Church Fork Peak. Nasty bushwhack back down to the trail, but still an enjoyable outing overall. Trip Report

As Part of the Millcreek Ridge Run
MIchael and I started at the West Grandeur TH and snowshoed the ridge over all the bumps and humps and peaks to Mt. Aire. We descended down to Elbow Fork and walked the snow covered road to a spotted car. This ridge is best done in winter when all the brush is covered.

Church Fork Peak
I went up the Church Fork trail and down the Burch Hollow trail. Being a Wasatch newbie, I thought the part along the ridge between Grandeur and Church Fork Peaks made a good introduction to cross-country travel, deer trails, and bushwhacking through Gambel oak scrub.

Posthole Fest
Climbed up Church Fork which was nice and quick because of the lack of snow. A stark contrast to the rest of the hike which involved severe postholing and waiting for moose to move away from the ridge. Great views from the top though.

Church Fork Peak
Hiked up Burch Hollow which is a nice route. There was some snow on top of the ridge. Didn't see anyone else on the mountain that day.
Missed the turn to head up Burch Hollow so elected to hike Pipeline to the start of the Mt Aire trail before heading west along the ridge to Church Fork Peak. Roughly 11 miles round-trip.
