Well-written, funny, and informative! Imagine that-- a useful TR instead of "We climbed on Saturday and had a nice time and here are the pictures." I hope this will be a featured TR.
Sorry for voting and commenting while the Under Construction tag is still on-- but I saw this now and have to head out of the house soon. Besides, it looks just about complete as it is.
I've incorporated your trail comments into the route pages as well. Your link to the North Sister page mentions "gaps" in my descriptions on that page as well though, could you be more specific? Thanks.
Many thanks for your kind comments. It was certainly a good time in terms of the challenge, the companionship and the stunning scenery. There were times, however, when I had my doubts; especially when we got off route after the TT. I don't ever want to be on ground like that again in my life.
Thanks a bunch. Glad you enjoyed it but particularly pleased that you found it informative - that being the main purpose of a TR. The rest is just to stop you getting bored while ploughing through it.
Cheers,
Martin

Welcome to Oregon, fun writeup
Welcome to our Oregon volcanic wonderland! Not sure why you drove past all those nice mtns in the North Cascades of Washington to get here though. ;)
Well 'cause I've done quite a few of them but mainly beacause I'm on this silly quest to climb all the volcanoes you can see from I5. Just Rainier to do (choosing conveniently to avoid Jefferson since only a tiny bit of the summit can be seen - not the whole mountain).

Re: Excellent TRHi Dan. Many thanks. North Sis made even welsh scree seem like a paved road. Loads of fun though, especially afterwards.

Re: Nice TRFair comment. There aren't really gaps as such. I've amended the text appropriately. Trust you approve.
