This was the 5th peak of our hiking extravaganza. After doing Temple the day before, our first impression from the approach trail was that it didn't look all that interesting, but it got a lot better the closer we got. We saw a lot of fearless marmots in the valley.

Good leg stretcher on (as I remember) a fabulous bluebird Canada Day in the Rockies!

Route Climbed: Scramble from Hidden Lake
Beautiful meadows followed by a long hike up scree. Too much cloud to see all the views, but what we could see was amazing from this little peak. At the lake, watch out for aggressive marmots that have been spoiled...

Glorious
I have a picture blown up 2 foot by 3 foot in my study. It is the view of the Wapta icefield and the spectrum of lakes draining its runoff down to Bow Lake. It is from the top of this beautiful peak. Do it or its wilder sister Bow Peak.

SC Day 10
Day 10 of 2004 Sierra Challenge
Climbed some random Cl 3 route starting just above Long Lake.
Route Climbed: Scramble Date Climbed: September, 2004
Great little solo to have up your sleeve. The approach is high alpine at its finest. Watch that last little bit of snow and ice. I posted a trip report and my web site for more pics. My pics on this were not worth posting here. Cheers!
