Nice area

Yeah, the storms come in fast! Better to be on this side than on the east side on Darton or Bighorn.....can't see the western storms building until they're on top of you when you're in those deep cirques. Love that area!

Good old Wyoming...the storm that hit that day built so rapidly from nothing. I was on a ridge watching the next ridge over getting pounded. Fortunately, I found a sheltered spot up there among the huge talus. Fresh snow covered the place after the storm but melted away within hours.

Yeah, they hit with an icy vengeance. We had a 10% chance on precip when I did a solo climb of Bomber mountain last Sat. Did a nice couloir on there. Overnight, despite the 10% chance, I got pummeled by sleet the size of 5mm ball bearings. Lovely..... :)
