Awesome

Great pictures and articulated very well. Glad to see you're back to normal (minus an organ) and enjoying the lamer highpoints. I love reading trip reports about the lame ones, b/c it's always the journey that is most exciting.

Re: Awesome

Thanks for the comment. I also like reading about the smaller highpoints to see what other people have to "Suffer" to get to the top!!!

Most Excellent...

... report and pictures. Sounds like you made a nice little trip out of that highpoint. I hope you get well soon and have the opportunity to knock out a few more highpoints.

cool

Hey best of luck to you in the future. It is great to read a TR about someone highpointing for the pure love of it, no matter where it is. There's always an adventure waiting to happen on a road trip.

Re: cool

I totally agree. I am the only one in my family that would drive 1,000 miles just to stand in front of a monument in the middle of nowhere for a few minutes just to say I have "Bagged that peak"!

Good Job

Thanks for the nice report. I am driving out to Tennessee next week and want to stop at high points in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. The high mountains are easy to find but hard to climb. The low hills are hard to find but easy to climb. I will follow your directions. :)
