Your information is useful, but should be added as an addition/correction to the existing page. There can only be one mountain page per mountain.
Alternately, it seems that the old owner of the page may be inactive. If you PM and email the owner and they don't respond, it is possible for us to transfer the main page to you if you feel that you can maintain and improve it.
