Obstruction Peak + Columbia Point via South Colony Lakes
Columbia Point was the goal, and it was a worthwhile one. Agree with Gahugafuga—scramble from Pt 13,290 is only straightforward if you know exactly where you're going. It's easy to get cliffed out and struggle around to find your way. The scramble up Columbia Point from Obstruction Peak was super simple though. The face looks a bit intimidating, but it's gently self-made switchbacks all the way up. Never exceeds Class 2/2+ if you follow it right.

Traverse from South Colony Lakes
We set out to try and summit Challenger and Kit Carson from the east, but turned around just after Columbia Point during the traverse from South Colony Lakes because of timing and weather.
Hiked Columbia Point, Kit Carson, and Challenger from South Colony Lakes.

South Colony
From the new, obnoxiously-low trailhead on the South Colony road, via the Bear's Playground. We continued to Kit Carson and Challenger, then returned via a surprisingly-nice scree-ski down the chute next to the Bear's Playground ridge. Trip report.
From S Colony Lakes across Bear's Playground, tagged a few other peaks before and after.

The First of a Three Peak Day
Well, technically we were not successful. This was our first peak of the day, but we didn't pay attention to details and stopped on the summit of Kitty Kat Carson. Regardless it was an awesome day, scrambling across the ridge traverse from the Humbolt saddle to Bear's Playground, traversing around Obstruction Peak and then climbing up Columbia (well sort of). We bagged Obstruction on the way back and finished with Humbolt. An awesome 14 hour day!

From Obstruction Pt.
I was actually impressed with this peak. A really, cool, fun scramble to the summit. The views from atop were fantastic!
Scrambled with a guy named, Rob whom I met up there that day along the traverse from Humboldt to 'Playground'. Super cool dude.

Outward Bound Couloir
I climbed this in conjunction with Kit Carson and Challenger Point. After coming over from Challenger, I hit Kit Carson and then down climbed towards the start of Kit Carson Avenue but instead went left towards Columbia Point. I went up a small gully and through a windowed rock and to the top of the Outward Bound Couloir. From here, I followed cairns to the very first gully that goes straight up the fin in between Kit Carson and Columbia Point. At the top of this fin I realized that I maybe went too high but stuck with the route and did some class 5 down-climbing to the next section of the fin and then up to the top of the fin where it connects to the actual mountain. From there it was relatively simply class 3 stuff similar to Crestone Needle. I was unable to locate the plaque on the summit.

Outward Bound Couloir
5/11/08 - Climbed via the OB Couloir from camp at Willow Lake. Nice, direct route. The scrambling between the couloir and summit was exposed and snowy so we protected it. Had a close call on the way down when deceiving snow conditions in the couloir led to a slight misjudgement. My axe was ripped from my hand by a hard layer of ice under the soft snow and I thankfully was able to retrieve it (it was tethered) and successfully arrest at high speed. There were rocks below that I would have hit but luckily all I suffered that day was an injured shoulder from having to arrest in the ice at high speed.
2/22/14 - Failed day trip attempt up Spanish Creek. The plan was to climb "Obstruction Peak" and traverse to Colmbia Point from there but we turned around at the saddle because the East Face was loaded and there was no avy safe line.
