Third try just this Spring. Finally got to Wagonwheel Lake. It was snow from there on. Borrowed a GPS track from Peakbagger. It worked. Multiple couloirs to choose from. We picked one that worked and made our way along the ridge to the top. Found something "traily" to descend off the summit ridge, and then were on our way back. Could that have been the right route to begin with?

Copper and Cub
Climbed both summits of Copper and measured the east peak add 5 to 10 feet lower than the west peak. We climbed Cub Peak also before descending.

Winter Ascent
Snow camped at wagonwheel, just to make it a weekend adventure. Built an amazing camp. Summited in the afternoon on a sunny day with moderate avy danger. Lots of icefall once the sun hit the cliffs above us. Amazing climb with amazing views. I recommend a winter climb vs a summer because the cornices up there are epic. always a great climb :)
