"...one of the tents tore in ridiculous winds one night at Las Veguitas" The winds of Cordon del Plata are really amazing! I've seen top-of-the-line TNF tents being ripped to shreds there.
I was rather happy with the performance of my Macpac! Those kiwis really know how to make a tent. But this christmas I'm hiding in the valleys of Rjukan... no wind to worry about :)
