Cricket Mountains  Sucess!

Cricket was a nice straightforward hike. Afterwards I did 7182, 7050, 6445, and Headlight. I was hoping to drive partway up 7182 and 7050 from the west side, but the road was somewhat nonexistent for the first 10th of a mile or so, so I aborted. Walking it, I could tell where people had gone though. A short time later it gets more distinct. The cliffs between these two peaks are all easily skirted, but getting from one to the other was not as easy as I had hoped. I was tired by the time I got to Headlight, but seeing it pouring in the distance helped my pace considerably and I was successful at getting home with less mud on the jeep than I had started with.

Cricket HP  Sucess!

Nice hike, low cloud cover that day so was unable to get the views of Notch Peak above Sevier Lake. Also did Headlight Mountain (P1K) and Peak 7182 (P1K) that day.

Cricket  Sucess!

My wife and I hiked the summit while visiting realitives in Delta. It was a pretty uninteresting peak compared to some of the better peaks in the area (Notch, Crystal, Pavant Butte, Tatow, etc.).

cross country from east  Sucess!

I had a few waypoints and a homemade map and it worked like a charm to attain the summit. A short but enjoyable hike with some really nice views from the top.
