twofer  Sucess!

Walked up the herd path in the valley to the old mining cabin ruins and then bushwhacked from the ruins to just north of Crow Peak via the col. Took two hours and ten minutes, plus another hour to romp the ridge from Crow to Elkhorn. Slightly chilly on top compared to previous days on this vacation.

Both of 'em  Sucess!

Real smoky, nice area though. Looped from Tizer lakes, came down a steep gully off Crow and down to Glenwood. Lots of bushwhacking

Elkhorns  Sucess!

Been up here three times, first time did a quick hike up only Crow, then made a loop going up Elkhorn and then to Crow the second time. Skinned up toward Crow via Leslie Lake once as well.

Winter Access  Sucess!

I did some kind of clockwise loop in winter up the road to Elkhorn Peak and then on over to Crow, which was great! Then I dropped into upper Elkhorn Creek and I remember the bottomless snow......oofdah! Need to get back there, though, its been awhile!

Local Peaks  Sucess!

Fun local peaks from Helena. Good just about any time of year. Last time I was up there was in August of 2019.
