Detail of east ridge seen during seventh trip to top, as one ascends grass after leaving the 4WD road. The left side of summit cone is obviously the preferred route. While grass up high is still to be found, I observed during the five years it has been since my previous ascent, the slopes are quite a bit more loose. August 2012.
