Autumn Creek Trail
With Sean Doyle (ManyGlacierMountaineer) and Rebecca Lahr on a windy September day. We hit the game/climber's trail that intersects with the Autumn Creek Trail, so had literally zero bushwhacking on the entire route. Hiked the ridge out to Point 7695 before rain chased us off the mountain.
Climbed during GPI opening crew with Colin, Chris, and Lia. Had a lot of fun finding the trailhead and the cutoff from the trail that starts the bushwhack. As nice as the climb was, the most memorable part was glissading too far down on the snow into a long bushwhack, and getting relentlessly pursued by an evil Osprey!

Nice Jaunt
Bushwack was longer than I was expecting so maybe I didn't turn up at the right spot. The previous posters aren't kidding about the quality of the rock, it is just absurdly crumbly even for glacier. The beer on the deck at the East Glacier Lodge was even more delicious when looking back up at Dancing Lady and the Old Squaw.
Went up again in early (felt early, long damn winter) July, 2011 with two kids from Whitefish, a pal from East Glacier, and an old St. Mary hiking buddy from Minnesota. Perfect conditions. Saw FOUR other climbing groups. Apologies to them for our silliness and the several IPAs consumed on the summit.
A fun hike with family. It ended up being a short day by Glacier Park standards, especially avoiding the scree going up and taking advantage of it on the way down.
