Incredible shot !!!ANYA: We really love your photos. Is there also a Bonanza Peak in Nevada's Spring mountains? Gee,I just learned something NEW! (Don't know if you're familiar with Bonanza Peak in Washington state.) Wonder if that name has anything to do with "historic mining activities?" GREAT PHOTO! Saw a lot of these creatures just north of Roosevelt Lake, AZ. We were "INVADED" by them. THANK YOU !!! !!!

Re: Incredible shot !!!I have never been to Washington state. Nevada's Bonanza Peak is not an impressive mountain, but the area feels very remote and wild and worth experiencing. I have heard of at least one person spotting two mountain lions up there and a couple of friends found a mountain lion skull a few years back in nearby canyon. There are also elk, deer and a few wild horses living below the peak not to mention all the little critters including the smallest butterfly in the world.
Cheers, Anya

Just a follow-up comment...YES! I'm kind of NEW to Summitpost, so I need more time to view the galleries, & focus in on all the different photographers. Yes,there was a "very neat" mountain lion skull submitted by MoapaPk. (I've never been to Colorado, by the way!) ANYWAY, your photos & knowledge of wildlife are totally awesome. I saw a mountain lion 'ONCE,' in southern Arizona. Was scary, because it came through our CAMP at NIGHT! Love your pics, ANYA !!!

Re: Just a follow-up comment...Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, this is a great website! Have fun exploring it. I'm not a wildlife expert, but fauna and flora study has become a big hobby of mine. It adds a lot more fun and challenges to my mountain adventures. Regards, Anya
