Desert Dragon

Just a small Dragonfly (one of many) encountered en route to Hamblin Mountain. Lake Mead Area, Nevada. November 2008. 300 million years ago before dinosaurs and birds came on the scene, dragonflies had wingspans of about two and a half feet!
