good rock scramble  Sucess!

With WMC group, byates and others. Great hike with nice scenery. Very quiet except for distant incessant gunfire.

Nice little peak  Sucess!

Fun hike. Also did 6013, 5914, 6022, 6157, and Coyote Knoll. The most fun peak of the lot was 6022 which has an interesting scramble at the top.

Desert Mountain  Sucess!

Hiked from the west. Great peak and cool mountain range. I saw Eric's cards in the register that he put there some ten months earlier.

One if my favorites  Sucess!

Started going out there about in 95, great scrambling, I've done 3 or four different routes, and about 8 trips out there, often head to Paul Bunyon's Woodpile on the way back.

From the West  Sucess!

This was a nice winter peak. It looked very cool with snow on it. There were big snow drifts on the road and I got my car stuck in one. I had to dig myself out of a 4 foot drift, nevertheless the peak was still very fun.

Nice peak with nice granite

My wife and I went here on a detour back from Delta Utah several years ago.

Much of the desert mountain area is really interesting with really nice granite outcrops (the east side is more scenic than the west). It would be a popular climbing place if it were near a large city.

West cross country  Sucess!

I didn't know what way up would work the best so I just tried it from the west and it worked fine. I did see an easier route from the south when I neared the summit and that might be the way to recommend to future peak baggers.
