I've hiked up to Devil's Peak from the Salmon River side. The TH is near the Green Canyon Campground, with the TH opposite the campground. This trail ascends steeply east up to Hunchback Mtn, and then continue SE on to Devil's. The trail is approx. 4.5-5 miles one way with ~ 4100' gain. It's been quite a few years since I've done this route, and the last time there was some big blow down nearing the Hunchback ridgeline. Not sure of current state (2021)?
Thanks for the note. I actually have done the route you mention a few times to the summit. It's a great route. Sketchy parking area but great route. Will update the page.
