Cool Page. Although I have spent time around Mallories Cave I never considered the mountain it was part of. Thank you for the info. The geology slant is also much appreciated.

Thanks for the vote. It's a great little mountain. Back East, geology was always kind of theoretical to me. Out here it's blatantly obvious.

Very interesting Charles, in all the times I climbed the Boulder Peaks, I never heard of Dinosaur Mountain. I will climb it if I return to Denver.

How funny, I climbed Dinosaur after work on Tuesday, and now there's a SummitPost page! I'll try to bring the camera next time.

Really? Me too. Did you pass a couple with woman in an arm sling? I was inspired and skipped out of work Friday afternoon, camera in hand, to climb it properly. Nice little mountain.

I don't remember... we passed by about 6 people on our way to Dinosaur. Would you have been heading out to the NCAR on the Mallory trail b/w 6:00 & 7:00?

Yeah, about then. Maybe as late as 7:30. I looked at your photo and you don't look familiar, but that doesn't say much.

Nice page. It must have been posted during that time I couldn't get onto SummitPost. Good work!

Thanks! It's a comact, rugged litle mountain looming over my house. Most of the Boulderites don't know it's there either!

Thanks. It's surprising how few people know about this mountain. Very cool little scrambling peak.
