Trail

Hiked up with the family. A good option for kids. Views are pretty good but not as good as those from Bear Mountain across the road.

Because its there

Nice easy and short trail hike to a non-inspiring summit. The views of the Bear Mountain massif across the street are nice though. Hiked up Bear and Capitol Butte afterwards.

Mellow Side Addition

Got this little dinger after Bear Mountain. Good views off of the east side.

Doe Mountain

Very short, easy hike. Did this one after hiking the Bear Mountain Trail. Both Bear Mountain and Doe Mountain start from the same trailhead. Great views looking back towards Bear Mountain. Used a GPS to find the highpoint.

True summit

Climbed with my wife. Used GPS to find the unremarkable true summit. Best views were on the west side.

Nice views

Very easy, fun hike up the mountain. Came across at least 6 very annoying sheriffs, who each gave me a load for starting the hike at 7 PM. My response was: it's blazing hot during the day, and I have a headlamp! From their perspective, I'm sure if I was constantly rescuing unprepared hikers in Sedona, I'd be lecturing too. It was still a really fun hike!
