Down the Horcones from Cuerno

This is one of my favorite pictures from the trip. As we hiked back down from Cuerno, the entire valley opens before you. On the left is the flank of Aconcagua, and the start of the normal route. You can see the cluster of tents and outhouses that is the Plaza de Mules just left of center. On the far right side is the refugio, and the trail that leads to it. Straight ahead is the path that leads back to civilization. Luckily we had a few days left before he had to make our way back out on it.
