Route Climbed: Northern approach to Bobotov Kuk, via Ledena Pechina Date Climbed: September 8, 2005
Weather was perfect, amazing sunny day. I climbed with group of 18 Chech people. Also about 50 people from Estonia was on same way. The biggest effort is under Velika Previja (2351 m), belowe impressive North Face of Bobotov Kuk (2523 m), the highest peak of Durmitor massif. When i reached this pass, path continue to famous and amazing Skrcki Pogled (Skrka View, 2420 m) from where i had beautiful view to Skrcka Jezera. From there, path continue directly in the rocks, use of hands is necessary. After about 15-20 minutes i reached the summit of Bobotov Kuk. Visibility from the summit was perfect, ideal for take a shots.
Big effort but great award! Incredible experience!

hiked BobotovHiked Bobotov Kuk from Sedlo, a more difficult hike than expected. Not too bad though. 12 km and 1000 m gain.
