"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

a reclusive hidden gemFor some reason this one kicked my rear, but the rewards far outweighed the expenses to get there. What a great unknown mountain. Its def worth climbing. Especially snow climbing ;)

Route Climbed: North ridge/ Cirque Traverse Date Climbed: 9-20-2003This was probably my most rewarding climb of the season. There is only one guidebook that I know of that depicts East Beckwith and the description is vague, to say the least. Normally I'm much more prepared when doing a hike of this nature but without a good route description it made it more challenging. A good topo map was all I needed this day. I have a feeling I will be going back to this area a few times next year.
