Wow Super Dave !!

What kind of freakin' rock is that, on the
east face of WCP-4???

Why would it be so crumbly? Is it volcanic?

It has some mighty fine texture - PLEASE keep
up your GREAT work on these photographs.

Thanks for the comments Larry. This type of rock isn’t uncommon in the White Clouds, especially in the northern part of the range. I'm far from a geologist, but from what I understand it’s a type of metamorphic limestone that is just a bit crystallized (kinda quartz like in places). Makes for very pretty sunsets since the rock is so reflective.
