Fine day!
With Fred. Beautiful weather and great views. Camped just south of where Cannon Creek crosses the trail. Took the trail to where the east ridge crosses it and up from there. Steep, very brushy with lots of downfall at first, but then it lays back and becomes more open. Most any way goes once you are at the base of the east face. We followed a series of chutes and ramps that crossed the face S to N, came out on the ridge and then followed it to the summit cairn. Seems to get rarely climbed. Original summit book from 1963 not even half full.
