Water looks gorgeous ..

My friend used to sea kayak out to Lummi Island. Said there was nothing like it.

Maybe your guess is better than mine, but I'm
still wondering WHY I moved to Arizona.

Thanks for the post Larry!

I think I can answer your question in one word...RAIN.

God is like the sun. When the sun shines, it shines for everyone. -Ziggy Marley

What deity inhabits the Pacific Northwest the other ten months of the year?

Think what I miss most are raspberries,
blueberries, huckleberries, and my
grandmother's rhubarb pie.

I remember planting fir seedlings in the
rain. It had it's own special flavor to it,
and I believe it did WONDERS for my karma.

Re: Water looks gorgeous ..

You obviously have history in the PNW. Most excellent taste in pie as well. :)

My idea of good karma is waking up to 70+ degrees...the sound of mourning doves...mynah birds in the koa tree outside the window (even though they are exotic introductions)...the sound of tropical surf outside the window.
