HP #7
I (with my wife (Tracy) and son (Alex), then almost 2 yrs old) did this as part of our first family HP trip.
This is more of a drive-to than a drive-up!

Doreen Makes This HP Special...
I love hearing the history of this highpoint and the surrounding area. I have to be honest; Doreen made this HP special for me. I visited before sunset, and gave her a "Thank You" card. I had never met with or spoken to her before then, but I wanted to give her something for all she had done for this highpoint and highpointers alike. We spent a long time talking with each other, sharing stories... my favorite was the "Candid Camera" story she told me. She even directed me to the "other" U.S. Geological disk down another street. Awesome lady.
This was the seventh of seven HPs (plus Washington, D.C.) I would reach in two days' time. HP #31 for me.

Ebright
Visited here on my way home from a trip to WV. Hit up Fort Reno earlier in the day. Nothing too exciting here. Parked and walked around. Every car that passed stared at me. Had some trouble locating the USGS marker but got it eventually.

Did the drive-by during our east coast trip. Saw the blue sign of course, also lots of cars and believe it or not, one other highpointer. Debate topic afterwards - was this summit "tougher" than Florida ?

Glad to have this one done. I was almost ashamed taking a picture of myself by the sign. But it's a highpoint nonetheless.

The wife and I achieved this highpoint early in the day. We met and chatted with Doreen for a while- what a sweet lady. The USGS marker is right across the street, to the left of the nearest telephone pole, cut out of the sidewalk. It's easy to find. HP #3 for me, HP #1 for the wife.

A short drive
This was prep session for my attempted ascent of Mt. Frissell the following day. It was a short drive from my parent's house in suburban Philadelphia. A good HP for those Highpointers that like to shop at the mall.

7th Highpoint in 4 days
After climbing Mount Frissell, CT and visiting High Point, New Jersey we still had one Highpoint left to do on our final day before our flight left Philly the next morning. Hungry and tired we drove to the top of Delaware in the dark, got out in a neighborhood filled with houses and took our picture by the sign. Sherpani was discontent. Bribed her with promise of a good meal, and told her she could plan our next "vacation". HP #30. HP #21 for my wife. 7th highpoint of the trip.

What a view!
I reached the summit shortly before dusk. While breathing in the rarified air, I took in the sweeping, majestic view of the nearby trailer park from this lofty parapet.
Seriously, see my note under additions if you want to experience some really neat local trails while you are in Wilmington.

Did this one with my wife (her first) and my friend/coworker, Bristol Ellington (his second). They weren't as in to the experience as I was. They sat in the car while I looked for, and found, the USGS brass or bronze benchmark across the street from the sign. I also went to the portion of the neighboring trailer park rumored to be 3 feet higher. Beware of the dog!

End to a day of wandering
Wandering with my son. To NYC from Philly, via the Del-Mar-Va peninsula. Arrived at 8 pm. Obligatory pictures, then off to Hoboken! (Highpointing as a hobby is indicative we all have issues!)
