Up old SLT down the Avalanche Gully
I've been up for checking the snow condition for upcoming Charleston Peak Winter Backpack trip. Took old SLT up to the Griffith Peak then descent the direct avalanche gully down. Its steep and short. Only 2 miles from peak to the SLT trailhead. Great Route! trip report

Cliff walls
The Cliff walls are somewhat exposed now, necessitating climbing while in full snow gear. The snow was too soft and deep for effective glissading. Tough conditions right now.
